Back in the heat

The boys and I arrived home yesterday afternoon, and it is still roasting hot down here. Clark suggested I turn off the air conditioner while we were gone and while I will be thanking him when we receive the next electric bill, I was certainly cussing him as it took 12 hours to get the house below 85 degrees.
The flights home were uneventful. Very quick. While we miss the family it is always nice to return home.
The evening prior to our flight, I was able to sneak away and have dinner with a dear friend. I had not seen her since her wedding 15 years ago. She is an avid blogger, so it often feels as though not a day has gone by. You can check her out over at {In the Moment}.
