Valentines

The boys are in the midst of their Valentine party as I write this. They diligently picked the perfect card for each of their classmates, carefully wrote each name and signed their own. It was so cute and fun. While they worked on Valentines I made heart shaped red velvet cupcakes. It was a miracle that any of them actually made it to school today as they ate about half of them yesterday during the process.

Here's hoping each of you have a lovely weekend and enjoy a nice Valentine's Day. We are hoping to finally get out of the house and do something eventful... Maybe a trip to the city!!

Savannah Update: My niece is still residing at Children's in Cincinnati. She has a long-leg cast on for an ankle fracture and they think they have pinpointed her 5 day 103+ fever to a bacterial infection in her ear. It's not a for sure but they are finally proceeding with antibiotics and as long as that fever stays down and she eats something, she just may be released to celebrate V-day in her home. Fingers crossed...
