We had visitors this weekend...Visitors from South Dakota. We decided to take them on a little Whooping Crane hunt at the Aransas National Wildlife Refuge. We hiked the lovely trails, had a delicious picnic and dodged alligator crossings. Despite our best efforts we were unable to spot a Whooper. Rumor has it they have already migrated on...
