Nemesis and Me

Cute by day; primal by night.

This is Pinto. This is where she likes to lay most of the day and evening. If I were not allergic to her I would not mind. She does not take no for an answer. I have given in to cuddles and allergy pills. Consumed my last one today. As of tomorrow either I relinquish the chair to her and spend my time at the kitchen table, not as conducive to snuggling, or suffer the consequence of swollen itchy eyes and a stuffy nose.

When night falls she transformers into a neurotic primal beast. Jumping on unsuspecting heads in the night treating hair as if it were a wound ball of string, biting feet and toes that wiggle under the covers, knocking all things off the nightstand including full glasses of water. And, without fail every morning, jumps up and opens all of the plantation shutters that keep the early morning sunrise from streaming into the dark cozy bedroom.

Shutting her out of the room is not an option as I need the door open in case I am summoned in the night by my grandfather.

Nemesis.

Are cats worse than kids, or what? Pinto sounds a lot like my kitty which is why he gets locked in the basement. (I am so mean!) Even down to prying open the plantation shutters with his little paws. They are such stinkers! Good luck ;D
