Ears and more

It's a busy week for this little guy. Today we skipped school, again, to do a run through for Thursday morning. I took him up to the hospital and we got registered and walked around a bit where he will be admitted for his tubes and adenoid procedure. We have to be there at 6:00 am (which means leave the house at 5:30, ouch) and I didn't want him to feel uneasy of his surroundings. I wanted him to recognize where we were.  Then he had to be fitted for his custom ear plugs. He is super excited that they fit only his ears and he got to pick the color that they will be. I just hope we have the same enthusiasm EVERY TIME we have to put them in over the next 1-1/2 years.

We had brunch together at a swanky little breakfast nook; somewhere we have never taken the children together, you know, all 4 of us. With the 2 of us it was a lovely experience. We then walked around a highly-breakable boutique hand-in-hand and looked at all the pretty stuff. Have I mentioned how much I love my children when they are not together?

Then we purchased our tickets for the Houston Dynamo game which will kick off our World Cup fever the evening before the big tournament begins...Can't wait.

Tomorrow the boys have their preschool graduation. We're kind of in the dark about the whole thing but we will be there camera ready!

Then school Wednesday.

And, the big "procedure" Thursday morning. I am super nervous about it. Clark more than I.  Not to worry though we don't let our brave little engine detect an ounce of it.

Stay tuned...
