Weekend Recap

The boys have new toys which were excitedly purchased on the way to the beach...

Too bad when we got there the waves looked liked this.   No wind (nice) also means no waves (not so nice with the new boogie boards in tow).  We did see a group of dolphins, however, and a stingray for the first time.  The boys did go out and give the boogie boards a go; I was going to join them but the stingray got between them and I and I kind of freaked out after Nelson was stung by a jellyfish (recovered surprisingly quickly) and Clark kept getting pinched by the little crabs scuttling around in the water. I never did make it in past my ankles.  It does not take much to keep me out of the water.

Clark found shade here as...

... the boys and I had taken up all the shade here.

Stay tuned for tomorrow.  Our first day of kindergarten in which Henry is convinced a lot of planting is going to be going on this year because as he puts it, "Hello?  It is called Kinder-Garden, right?"

I love you got your own boogie boards. PawPaw and I rented two for the price we could have bought two. They loved to see us coming. PawPaw taught me how to boogie board. Would you teach me again??? Nana
