Breaking Bread with Kinders

I love these occasions... I really do. Sharing a bit of the boys' day with them that we don't usually get to see. On this particular day it was lunch in the cafeteria. The decibel level in that room was off the charts, to be expected from a room full of 5 and 6 year olds. Parents were invited to share Thanksgiving dinner with the children, sit at their tables, amongst the masses.   The classes wore hand decorated shirts made to look like Native American dress, hand colored paper hats and noodle-dyed necklaces.  So festive.  It is so fun to see the excitement in their little faces when they walk in and see that you are there to share the meal with them.  The meal was traditional, mass produced, served on styrofoam trays.  Clark called it jail food. I though it fine. Here are a few snaps captured from the occasion...

What a great memory for the boys! I too, love having the opportunity to see my boy in his school setting. Happy Thanksgiving.

Will you EVER grow old??? You are every bit as stunning as you were in 11th grade. Love these pics, Paula.
Those are 2 very lucky boys there.
