Nelson has the flu. The real flu. The 104 degree, coughing, shivering, pitiful, yuck. The reason most people in their right mind get the flu shot every year; just not us. The flu that had his dad in bed for 5 days last week. It really kicked in night-before-last and a trip to the doc confirmed it today...That and a touch of bronchitis. Now we are laying low playing games, puzzles, and watching movies. Cats and Dogs to be exact. It has me thinking that another Beagle may be in our future.

We wish him a speedy recovery. We all got flu shots last year; this year we didn't.
