Caution: Bragging parent ahead...
My kids have totally amazed me beyond words this year. First the spelling bee, then all the A-honor roll report cards and now the reading. They have turned into such little braniacs. They have both surpassed their reading goals for the month and they still have 3 weeks to go.
Henry is currently reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone by himself! And Nelson, on our recent trip to San Antonio, read us The Lorax on our drive. They are such brilliant boys and I can't help but be so proud of their achievements.
Okay, bragging over (for now)...

Above all else I want my daughter to be a reader and never tire of it. I once heard someone on the radio say, why do we treat reading as something that is optional, a choice when every person should see reading, learning, personal growth as a requirement of life. Never stop learning. :)
That is so wonderful, you should be bragging!! You and Clark have been wonderful parents, working so hard with them to give them the skills they need to accomplish wonderful things like they have. I'm so proud of them and look forward to hearing more bragging in the future :-)
