Geckos

I spotted these guys hanging out on the fence while doing a little gardening.  They kept puffing out their necks and dancing around a bit.  I'm not sure if it was some kind of mating ritual or if they were getting ready to have a big fight.  After about thirty minutes of watching them, I took a few shots and gave up.  We see them all over the parameter of the house and many have battle scars and missing tales.. My guess is that it was a sign of territorial trespassing.  If anyone knows anything about geckos, I'd love to hear it...

This is a Mediterranean Gecko now commonly found all over North America (In deserts). I also have them all over my house in Texas.172.155.126.111 20:27, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
