It was one of those days you wish would never end. Being with your favorite people in the world, cooking a wonderful meal together, laughing, playing, eating, post-dinner stroll. It just doesn't get much better.
Thanks! It was my Grandmother's apron, though I don't recall ever seeing her wear it. She usually wore a longer, over the neck apron. She would take off her pants, as to not get them dirty, and cook in her blouse, girdle, stockings, heels and apron. She spent most of her day in the kitchen and so this was how she was dressed most of the time. To much information perhaps, but such fond memories.
