A weekend excursion that we intended on having at the beach, actually went only so far as a little community across the bay bridge from our town. We were looking for potential fishing spots for this week's visitors, the O'Maleys. We ended up spending a few hours here, strolling a lovely path, picnicing on local taqueria egg burritos, and hiking down to the bay. Far from the island, this seemingly felt very island-like and, dare I say, Maui-ish... Okay, perhaps I should not go that far, but it was lovely and I asked Clark what a commute time would be like for him if we ended up buying one of the mansions there. Too far, he said.
