A note on my favorite blog...

So, I am not a super-crazy blog reader, but I do have my favorites, most of those being of family and friends. I also have some that I check in on when I have nothing better to do, such as Nie Nie or her sister CJane and of course Pioneer Woman and Dooce.

But, none do I check on as often nor consistently, with the utmost satisfaction in moments of, "Yeah, me too." and, "Yes, I love the way you said that.", than Girls Gone Child.

She is a brilliant writer, expressing her new found glory of motherhood in such an honorable manner, without a hint of sarcasm or cynicism. She reflects on her own experiences in a downturn economy, out-of-work husband (whom recently found work), while raising her two children to be independent, respected and vivacious in life, despite living in a world that can pass judgment on gender, color, religion, blah, blah, blah... She doesn't buy it, nor accept it...

She's brilliant, brilliant I tell ya. But, be warned, she's not afraid to drop the occasional f-bomb...
