After a fabulous breakfast of vegetable quiche with bacon we filled our pool, set out the beach chairs, and enjoyed a lovely day with a heat index of 101. Clark and I enjoyed a Negra Modelo as the sound of a live 6-piece Mariachi band blew over from the neighbor's backyard BBQ. When I closed my eyes I honestly felt that I was on vacation. What a perfect Mother's Day.
This is the beautiful quiche that my husband got up at 7:30 a.m. to make.
The backyard pool party.

The best thing about a backyard pool party... swimsuits, optional.

Note the goggles... We have another pair just like them somewhere. We had BIG fights over who was going to wear the green pair and who the blue, so Clark modified them so they each have a green eye and each a blue eye... In case you were wondering.

P~ that is the sweetest sign! Definitely a keeper. Also, the boys look adorable, as always...and the quiche looks great. I was contemplating that ended up with making blueberry buttermilk pancakes.
Happy Mother's Day!
