In honor of this first annual (I think) I will try and do a post every day. I usually don't follow through with these types of commitments, but what the hell, I'll give it a go.
Today's Post: Funny things kids say: Segment 1 (I think I will make this a regular because there are sooooo many).
Henry: "Next time we are sick we need to go to this state," he says pointing to Wisconsin on his talking puzzle map.
Me: "Yeah, why is that?"
Henry: "Because they have medicine there. The state capitol is medicine."
Get it? Madison/Medicine

He can read?!!!
We are actually working on that and he is doing quite well but in this case the map talks, no words.
The map talks. The map talks.
Can you hear my sigh of relief?! I mean, I know he is brilliant, and you work a lot with the boys, but attempting to read Madison just about sent me over the edge. LOL!
I feel much less insecure about Caeden's skills. ;)
Just read to them; you don't even have to teach. They'll surprise you.
Elliott (8 months) goes for shots in a couple of weeks; I've already told him. I think the nurses meant to tell you that until the kids are actually old enough to understand what you're saying it's good to tell them up front. Once they understand, it's best to say after they get the shot that you didn't know they were going to get shots that day. ...just kidding of course.
