Date with Nelson
Nelson and I have been hanging out today, just the two of us. We dropped his brother off at school then headed into town for a doctor appointment with an ENT specialist (more on that Friday when we return for allergy testing). Anyway, a leisure stroll through Barnes and Noble, stopping to look at every super hero book we could find, and lunch at Macaroni Grill, it was a lovely morning. And, though I hate to say it, my children are so much more enjoyable when not together. Is that a bad thing to say?

OMG! That person he drew is adorable, how sweet.
And no, you are not horrible for saying that. Nelson looks thrilled to have you all to himself, too.
They might also learn to appreciate each other more from when they have time apart.
A few years ago I had twin brothers in a class and when the mother came in for conferences she said,"Oh my God! They shouldn't be together in the same class."
