It's a Wrap

The 4th has come and gone. Most of our weekend was just lovely if you don't count the continual record breaking highs (cured with a trip to the beach and water park), or the traffic to get downtown to the fireworks and having BOTH children say "I really need to pee" just moments after they started (we missed the finale, but beat the traffic out, only to be lost in the ghetto), or a fire ant bite to the toe that resulted in severe hives all over the body accompanied by extreme itching, a call to the ER for advice, and 2 Benadryl later my weekend, and the itching, were over. It really was a nice weekend....

Game of beach soccer.

Coming back from a dip.

Nelson is sand castle ready.

Henry getting his goods out.

Beach stroll.

Our handsome entertainer.

Henry took this shot.

Waiting with the masses for fireworks to start.

This is about all we saw.

Paula - I am exhausted just reading your about your weekend! It sounds fun, and busy ... and painful! :)

The picture of you and the boys on the beach is just awesome. How lucky you are to be so close to the ocean.

One of these days, just for me, go down there in the evening, and draw a heart in the sand with the boys' names in it. I've always wanted to do that.

Your boys are just so precious that I want to eat them up! Warn them for our first meeting ...
