They say it is perfect if you just want to surf the web, check e-mail, read the news... That's me in a nutshell. The only problem I see is keeping 20 sticky little fingers off it. I already had to remove all game apps from the iPhone for that exact reason. Now, do we wait for the second generation release or go for instant gratification??

We're the type that is usually last to get in on a good thing. First iPod we owned was the Touch about 8 years after the original iPod release. And, just now got in on the iPhone craze, two years later, don't know how I lived without it. I'm thinking it would be great to be ahead of the class this time around. And, today is the first day...Are you getting one?

I have the iphone too. I like it because it is everything all in one and portable. I don't see the ipad as filling much of a hole in my needs.
We just discovered Valerie had 65 viruses on the computer that she uses; it finally got overwhelmed. We have cleaned it up with antivirus but I deleted a critical file and need to restore it. Ugh.
